Pros

HealthEquity invests in the individual. If you are not happy with where you are at, they will help guide you to where you want to be. The sky is the limit with ambition, smarts, and hard work. The compensation, benefits, and culture make it pretty easy to stay excited about the growth and direction of the company. They work hard to maintain work/life balance. They make heroic efforts to prevent their employees from "burning out" - even during the busy season.

Cons

There are a few HR policies that I think are counterproductive to team moral. First, they generally don't grant raises greater than 10% above your current salary. This usually isn't a problem, but sometimes this means they end up paying internal promotions much less than they would have paid an external hire. Also, they generally require you be in your current position for one year before allowing you be promoted or change positions. I understand there are exceptions of these guidelines, and I even understand the logic behind them - but I've found they generally stifle ambition within the company. But I still wouldn't rather work anywhere else, even if I got paid more.

Pros

The culture at HealthEquity is positive and engaging. The benefits are terrific and you feel like you are genuinely valued as a person.

Cons

HealthEquity is in an industry that is growing rapidly so there is a lot of work and change happening. I like change and a fast paced work environment, but I could see how being here could be overwhelming to those that like a steady routine.
