Pros

We have a beautiful culture here that is hard to find or replicate. Many have tried & failed. I'm proud to say that I work where we put a strong emphasis on our team members and how we're dedicated to scaling the magic. The benefits are amazing, we're really taken care of here.

Cons

The attendance policy in Member Services is not employee friendly. This restrictive policy disallows us to have sick days to take care of emergencies, illnesses, personal hardships & our families. HealthEquity unfairly demands it's employee's to use their PTO benefit for unplanned missed days. Life happens, and from time to time it may interfere with work but this policy works against us & is a burden on work/life balance. Please work with us to change this policy. This policy stresses me out as a team member & damages the relationship between the employee and the employer. Also, it's difficult to move up here, it's mostly about who you know rather than what your work ethic is like & how consistent your performance is.

Thank you for your review of HealthEquity on Glassdoor. I appreciate your well thought out response to your experiences in your role. I can also understand your sentiments regarding the attendance policy. I personally know that there is much thought and care by our leadership in setting and modifying policies to allow appropriate support to the business as well as for the team members. The opportunity here is better mutual understanding from the business perspective as well as your team member perspective. I encourage you to review any additional concerns with your leadership so that you can feel appropriately heard and understood. At the same time, be open to the needs of the business that will best support our mission in remarkable service and connecting health and wealth.

Pros

Company culture is very, very good. Leadership team understand importance of culture and impact it has to the bottom line. Company vision is clear and central to daily work. Individual and team goals have logical connectivity to company vision. CEO and senior leadership team aren't just competent and seasoned, they are also approachable, genuine and happily engage with the rank and file. Compensation is competitive - bonus plan is generous. Work/life balance is decent. Could be better, but it's very refreshing it is concern for leadership team. People Team couldn't be better - true focus on welfare and success of team members. Physical facilities are quite a bit above average. Lots of opportunity to grow and excel if you are willing to put in the work. Company is winning/flush with cash - everyone likes being on a winning team.

Cons

It's a short list - HQY is uniquely awesome. Work/life balance could be better. Company is quite generous with PTO given. It can just be difficult at times to get away. Annual PTO rollover is prohibitive.
