      Antiquated, irrelevant mindset

      Flexibility with time off/schedule, WFH

      Cons

      Very antiquated mindset throughout company, extremely behind the times. There are a lot of tenured leaders who have never worked outside the company in 20+ years causing a close minded and naive management style. Not growth minded, more reactive than proactive. Lack of leadership & support. Training takes 1-2 years, before even the basics become manageable. Unwelcoming to new people from outside the company. Makes it very difficult to catch on, lack of support from leadership. Very dismissive when you voice your basic training/tools to do your job.

      Pros

      Management gets to know you personally and genuinely cares about you as a person. Access to continuing education improves your skill set and hones your current skills. Excellent, extremely affordable health care. Training is extensive, but very informative. They give you all the tools you need to do your job and do it well. There is no workplace drama. They are incredibly diverse. Very LGBTQIA friendly. Feedback is given monthly or bi-monthly. They help you to take pride in your work. They encourage you to ask questions, explore opportunities in the company , and are very open to ideas and suggestions. Zero tolerance policy for any kind of workplace drama, discrimination, or gossip. Flexible schedules and hours. Amazing PTO packages, huge 401k match and contribution. Superb work/life balance allowances. Usually if a company says things like “we’re a family “ it is a red flag. This company treats you like family but is not boastful. Open door policy from management.

      Cons

      Training is very meaty depending on your job role. Can be somewhat taxing, but manageable.

      Great PTO, Benefits and pay. Room for growth and opportunity to succeed.

      Cons

      Union position and some people are VERY lazy.. you end up picking up their slack and they take advantage.
