Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. The staff accountant position is full cycle accounting which helped teach me all aspects of accounting. The management team really cares about the employees and strive to provide us a good work / life balance. There is opportunity for growth and learning and the managers are good "teachers". The work space is nice, free covered parking garage, and the building is easy to get to.

Dress code needs to change it is 2019. More up to date working schedule, ie..working remotely on occasion.

Welcoming co-workers, portfolio manager is very genuine , nurturing, personable and very knowledgeable about the diverse culture in Hawaii, pay is competitive, promotes professional growth without hindering personal growth, good parking.

Cons

Family plan medical is outrageously expensive. UHA is not the best medical insurance provider. Other than that...there are really no cons.
