      Pros

      Cleaning and caring for the elderly. Many of whom I have come to grow fond of.

      Cons

      No sick days, no vacation time, no holiday pay, no overtime. Pittiful pay, at minium wage. Short staff most of the time, leaving you to work, a job like your two people. Supplemetal medical at outrageous cost, that the company, does not pay a dime towards, and is worthless anyway. Paychecks constantly short, in most of the facilities, that this district manager oversees. Constant tunrover for obvious reasons.

      Pros

      Monday thru Friday hours 7 am to 3 pm IF you have a good staff. Fairly flexible with time off when needed.

      Cons

      As a management service for nursing homes you are expected to go in when there are ANY issues with staffing. You will be asked to work on overnight projects for other buildings as well as your own, go in or check in on holidays and basically be available 24/7. Horrible benefits. If you want to try and move up in the company they will work you and work you for a long time and there may never be any openings. The company consistently grows but you have to have an "in" to move up. Raise requests are ignored one you reach $30,000. annual salary. Very little support (if any) from upper management.
