Too often, district managers are chosen simply by their personality, with a disregard to their prior job performance. Easy to take time off, but you will suffer when you get back, thats guaranteed. Good starting pay, but not enough for the role you have as an Account Manager. Real buddy buddy as far as upper management goes, its the only way you will advance. They will sit around at the bars with you and make fun of other account managers at will.
