      Huge freedom, huge responsibilities

      Pros

      Freedom to set your own schedule (within reason), as long as you get the job done. Being able to interact with different clients and solve problems. Tremendous satisfaction of making the environment for the residents as nice as possible. Finally, the chance to interact with the residents themselves...what stories.

      Cons

      Not enough support from corporate - as a district manager you have to be your own hr manager, payroll clerk, recruiter, trainer, business developer and do your operational job as well. It takes an unique person who can do it all well, especially in California with all of its laws.

      This place sucks, don't do it. They think managers are floor techs! If they call you for an interview hang up the phone.

      Pros

      Monday thru Friday work schedule. Getting off by 5 at the latest everyday.

      Cons

      Anything and Everything. Corp sucks. No money available because the upper management has to have their bonuses and drinking money. Budgets are run way, way to tight. Never have any supplies to satisfy the client. Totally poor run company.

      Don't Waste Your Time

      Pros

      Great on paper. Good manuals and training materials. Good cleaning methodologies.

      Cons

      Treats employees like indentured servants. Allows incompetent and petty people to assume leadership positions. Regional Managers don't help, only hound, and only care about staying in the inner circle and on good terms with the big boys. Don't keep their promises and have ridiculous system of nitpicking discipline that degrades and discourages employees. Exploit people at the bottom of wage earners. Complete lack of transparency with employees and managers. Account managers ground down and given poor support. Buildings are understaffed.
