      Less than positive for the healthcare field.

      Pros

      Work schedule is very good; meeting the residents and providing them a service that makes their life better. I worked with a very knowledgeable staff.

      Cons

      Very low pay however the work is a no brainer and not very challenging. Almost no communication from district manager. Unreasonable request to go long distants during the holidays with no communication about travel and no mileage paid when you do travel. The company request a college degree, but it doesn't take a drgee to mop and buff floors. The company needs district managers that can communicate well and have answers other than "that's what we expect".

      Pros

      HCSG is a great place to start a career in management. The job requirements are relatively low, not even requiring any college coursework. If you are intelligent, motivated to further your career, and have competent interpersonal skills, you will get raises and are likely to advance in the company.

      Cons

      Too often, district managers are chosen simply by their personality, with a disregard to their prior job performance. This causes higher levels of management to generally be disorganized and, to be blunt, lazy. HCSG also displays a blatant disrespect for morality, when dealing with its employees. Far too often, employees will be terminated due to the fact that their hourly rates are too high, regardless of ability to perform their jobs.
