Thriving Company, Positive Culture, Good Vibes

Pros

Healthfuse was intriguing to me because of it's very unique niche, in a very important industry, healthcare. Making a difference for hospitals across the country is very rewarding as an employee. There's always something to do on a typical day... The workload is high, but never unmanageable and anyone on the team is very willing to help or give advice. Management stresses a culture of "Service, Innovation, Problem-Solving, and Competitive-Drive" and they definitely practice what they preach. Everyone has a voice and management is always open to new ideas, no matter your role. The workplace culture was also very attractive when accepting a position here. It's a very young, motivated, passionate group that all get along very well. There are times everyone is engaging in conversation with one-another and other times where everyone has their heads down - "work hard, play hard" mindset. The hardest part of the job is meeting deadlines to serve our clients properly and solving their challenges to improve their internal and/or vendor performance/processes. As challenging as these things can be, the hard work/problem-solving/collaboration put in for a successful outcome is very rewarding. The most enjoyable part of the job is the culture built on the core values of our CEO and the people I work with everyday. If you are looking for a thriving company with a positive culture from leadership down to its employees where you can grow and view your role as a career and not just a job, then this is a great place to work.

Cons

Workload (I couldn't come up with an actual con) - many deadlines to serve our clients properly, but as mentioned, the work load is not unmanageable. Also, everyone is very willing to help you when you are in a pinch!

Cold calling sales culture

Pros

Most of the people were great to work with

Cons

The sales culture revolves around cold calling. You are expected to make 120 cold calls a day to CFO's (meaning you are calling the same number 4 times a day hoping they pick up or hoping you are calling when their receptionist is not at their desk ). On average maybe 3 people would pick up the phone and most of them would hang up on you. On top of this, you are working in territories that have been worked for the past 6 years. With only 5000 hospitals in the US (half of which are managed by larger corporations who do not have the ability to make decision like hiring Healthfuse) it is basically impossible to get 5 new leads a week. The position title, associate of client services is misleading. Inside sales representative is more fitting.

Young Company with Lots of Potential

Pros

I have never worked at a company with employees who are so passionate about the company and their work. The work is challenging but manageable. The benefits are great and the pay is competitive.

Cons

Not a good fit for anyone not willing to put a lot of hard work in. Being a young company, procedures are changed often. You have to be willing to adapt to changes easily.
