Pros

Incredible number of talented and passionate people working for brands they love. There is a common cause to work towards a joint goal, its a lovely culture at Hearst. Hearst is very innovative from a digital and social perspective and growing more so in the experiential space with the investment into the Live team. It has many strings to its bows in terms of what every single brand can offer which makes it highly attractive for clients to ensure bespoke tailored campaigns

Cons

There have been difficulties doing business with Hearst due to the badly set up structure in place. Clients/Agencies find it tricky knowing who best to talk to. Maybe too much focus on brand buy rather than audience buy internally however with the new CEO and new structure rolling out this is due to change and will hopefully improve. Experienced many restructures which makes career progression difficult
