Pros

Serious about news coverage. Loves winning awards and being competitive. Values local television. Some really impressive stations with long track records. You can be proud of working for Hearst.

Cons

Tendency to be behind the times. Slow to respond to industry changes, such as social media. Hard to feel like there's growth opportunities within the company. Virtually no cooperation with other Hearst Corporation properties.

Great building and perks, very nice location and people. The work life balance is good and is normal 9-5 format.

Cons

A bit rigid in structure compared with a more entreprenueral workplace.
