Pros

It's not a bad place to start a career. The quality of the company does depend on your unit.

Cons

At my unit they rarely promote from within, so to progress you'll have to go somewhere else to advance your career.

Pros

The folks (non-management) who work there are great. The benefits package is adequate.

Cons

Promises of money to be made if you are in Sales—but surprise! The commission structure is so convoluted and and one-sided, it takes a miracle to make any money whatsoever!!!

Pros

The benefits are great and the salaries are at the top of the industry. They have a great cafeteria!

Cons

Each magazine is very top-heavy and it is very corporate in this way. The management often turns a blind eye to abuse of lower level employees by senior level employess
