German Corporate Culture - There is a false impression that HF is a fast paced, international startup. In reality this is a very "german" company with big corporate culture that required a business case for the simplest change. Compensation - Echoing other reviews, we do not pay as well as we should. A LOT of politics - If you are unlucky and report under a "weak" leadership structure, you can receive a lot of unfair treatment in performance reviews and daily work. You will likely have to do a lot of work and never be rewarded for (or penalize for things outside of your control). Lack of Trust - There is little trust from leadership, which leads to very intensive reporting, huge amount of manual work, silos and a lot of inefficiencies large companies often encounter. We are often operating on a fear based culture with low psychological safety. Vicious documentation cycle: There is a hyper focus of documentation but very few information documented are useful, which leads to disorganised data which leads to more manaul work and documentation. It is very difficult to locate the information you need to do your job. Workload: A lot of people burnout here. We have a lot of employees from culture that have very demanding and top down working environment. Unfortunately this is translating into the culture of overworking.
