      Got Too Big to Keep Culture

      Pros

      Henderson has had tons of Growth, they try to keep everything as organized as possible. Comfortable work environment and concern for the employees.

      Cons

      Intention does not align with reality, too much work to be completed by employees leads to resentment and leaving, can't replace people fast enough. Changed from a local lead culture to a Corporate Structure starting in 2015, this brought lots of resources, but destroyed the culture and they saw a mass exodous.

      Pros

      Good work-life balance, flex time is great Great training resources and design tools Fantastic BIM team Seem well managed from a business side of things, I don't see the company going under

      Cons

      Promotions seem strictly tenure based; I felt much more knowledgeable than some Engineer 2/3s . Really busted my butt the first couple of years with nothing more than a "good job" and an average yearly salary increase. Finally stepped back and stopped pushing myself so hard since it seems that tenure is the only path to promotion.
