Great company with long history or engineering excellence. If you become part of 'in' group you are very well taken care of. In general all employees are treated very well. It is a company that is very easy to have a 20+ year career and retire from

I have no doubt I'll retire from this company, and am very thankful for that. I do have fears the next generation will not be so lucky. At our division office leaders are isolating themselves more and it is very common for a couple directors to have there doors shut all day. some of these same directors can be very intimidating to younger employees and not foster an environment with open ideas. These few directors isolate themselves, then come in at the end of projects to poke holes in them and talk about how they saved the project (very ego driven) The Hendrickson way is much more all onboard and getting hands dirty from the beginning. Again most employees seem to have this old way of innovation and Hendrickson engrained in them, but my fear is these two or three directors are slowly deflating this old successful Hendrickson style.
