Pros

I had good managers and good coworkers. Teaches a tremendous amout of skills that can be used at any other job. The days went by really fast because we moved around a lot.

Cons

Pay is horrible for what you have to deal with and the work is very stressful sometimes. You deal with a lot of jerks at bodyshops, dealerships and insurance companies. It's all about sales, sales, sales!

Pros

The coworkers are great and easy to get along with. Freedom of mobility on the job(picking up and dropping off customers) and you get to drive various cars as well. Plenty of praise and compliments when you work hard. The ability to learn how to run a business which in turn can be added to your resume. Good experience right out of college in the business world.

Cons

Mostly extremely stressful. The company is always worried about high labor costs so sometimes you will run the office by yourself when there are a hundred things going on. (phones ringing, customers in the lobby, cars that need to be washed.) It will make you pull your hair out. On top of that the wage is terrible. 50+ hours a week so expect your life to be at Hertz.

Pros

There were very few boring times at Hertz Airport Locations. The challenges of the business made for fast-paced and diverse experiences almost every day. A great emphasis was placed on the quality of the service each customer received. Employees had a surprisingly strong sense of "WE" in the success or failure of the Operation. I considered it a great place to work (even when Ford owned it). Car, gas, insurance,

Cons

Long Hours, absolute flexibility of operations managers (time, job description, hours, etc.) which was exploited by post-2007 owners, move from car rental company to over-leveraged balance sheet driven entity.
