Pros

Firstly, I really enjoy working at Hibob, it's what I was sold during the interview and what I'm looking for. The US team - a really good group of people who want to help each other. Easy access to senior leadership Potential to be the 'next big thing' in HR systems Massive opportunity in the US market We are building the airplane as we fly it - it's exciting but not for everyone

Cons

This is a startup - expect to do things outside your job description. You are selling a concept as opposed to a fully finished solution They are still building out the organization so expect internal friction from time to time If you want to sell an established solution or only work in a role with clearly defined parameters, this probably isn't for you

I am happy to hear you’re feeling a connection to the team and senior leadership. These are two key ingredients to success and job satisfaction. Our leadership - and all bobbers - are in the trenches every day ‘building the plane’ as you say and - for our nearly 200 employees and 700 clients - it’s taking off! Thanks for being a part of this journey and for understanding that the intermittent turbulence is a necessary part of the ride. We get through it and fly better as a result. It helps keeps us focused on the things we must do for our people, our clients and the market.

Pros

The pros definitely outweigh any cons as this was truly a great company to work at the last 3 years: Room to grow: Huge opportunity to grow your career here. Not to say its easy, but if you have a clear vision for what you want to achieve at a high growth startup the management team will back you all the way Product: You'll struggle to find a more talented product and development team in the HR space. The product iterates at an insane rate and they're well on their way to blowing the competition out of the water Leadership: The CEO & CTO are genuinely world class entrepreneurs and will continue to push Hibob to great places. Humble and always open to hearing feedback regardless of your position in the company The people: An amazing group and people you truly enjoy working with day to day

Cons

- Its tough, don't join if you expect an easy ride or everything to be perfect - Snr leadership being based in Tel Aviv can be a struggle at times - You absolutely must be a self-starter or you will struggle

Thanks for your review. It’s a fair assessment of the company, our challenges and strengths. If it was easy I’d be concerned we weren’t stretching ourselves and the company enough. Successful bobbers are self-starters, driven and recognize that there is amazing room to grow and contribute here at Hibob. Like many of the clients we serve, we are growing - AND FAST. Our people are creative and tenacious - always looking for ways to continue to develop and grow our product and the business. We are doing big things - and big things take big thoughts and big risks. Key to this is transparency and as you suggested, we’ll continue to share with, and listen to our people as we grow.

interesting product, conceptually...weak in reality

Cons

they take advantage of employees at every turn. fear mongering, oppressive culture. the product actually has a lot of major flaws they don't tell you about until it's too late because you're already there

I am sorry to learn that you didn’t enjoy your experience at Hibob. I do hope you’ve landed somewhere that’s a better fit for your strengths and interests. I must dispute your claims about the product with data and facts. We have nearly 700 happy clients around the world supporting nearly one-hundred thousand employees. What we do, we do well. We see double-digit negative net-churn amongst our client base which validates the fact that the product not only works, but our clients stay with us because we effectively support their needs as they grow. Your comment about fear mongering and oppression put me at a bit of a loss. I am not aware of a single escalation or complaint that we have in any way tried to manipulate or stir fear in the market, with our people or with our clients through fear mongering. Further to your claim of ‘oppression’, we have never kept any employee against their will or impeded the freedom of our people. As with any employer, Hibob employs at will, and though we have zero tolerance for workplace misconduct, we’ll never restrict anyone from leaving if they find the environment at Hibob doesn’t suit them.
