Pros

None what so ever, this company is the Yellow book trying to be "Digital Marketing Experts"

Cons

Low pay, no support , outsource to India. Customer service non-existent for the clients. Their building is an empty shell, indicative of the sinking ship this company has been and continues to be.

We strongly disagree with your feedback, as we continue to see amazing results with our digital products and services. Our company philosophy is Client for Life, which shows the importance of long term relationships with all of our customers.

Pros

Great people worked for this company. I liked and respected almost all the people I worked with and worked for. None of them worked for the company within two years after I left. I'm happy to say they all seem to be doing well in other endeavors.

Cons

This was a company in chaos. After trying to recreate from a yellow pages publisher they tried to do many, many different things at once. Some products and services were more successful than others, notably their digital products, but it was excruciating having the higher ups throwing everything at the wall to see what stuck- especially when they would unceremoniously remove the products after forcing their sales people to push it on to customers and damaging the trust relationship between them. As a career salesperson with over 20 years of field sales experience, this was the first and last company that required extensive travel with ZERO reimbursement for gas, or mileage, much less a company vehicle. They provided no per diem for food in the required sales training out of state either.

We do have amazing people that work at Hibu. As we were moving to primarily a digital first product company, we did trial and test multiple different products to see what resonated and met the needs of our customers. We now have a core set of products that are competitive and thriving in the marketplace and most importantly, helping our customers succeed. Our compensation packages for sales representatives have always been competitive and include travel and expense reimbursement.

Pros

Friendly coworkers, even from other departments, as well as a laid back atmosphere. Fairly easy to access on public transit. Pleasant outdoor seating environment.

Cons

Extreme expectations in sales promoting products that aren't easy to sell. Stressful and exhausting sales goals with little reward even if sale fell through.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We agree that there are many pros to working at Hibu, including the great people, environment and location. With any sales position, there are objectives that need to be met. We work hard to ensure these goals are fair and attainable. In addition, we regularly review our compensation packages to ensure they are competitive.
