Pros
Great company for growth & development. Rapidly expanding & focuses on developing internal employees. The company has a great future & you can't go wrong with a job at Highgate.
Cons
Due to the rapid growth the standards are strict and expectations high. It can sometimes feel like you're just a cog in the machine and it's up to the individual properties to alleviate this aspect of the corporate culture. Only holidays are earned after the probationary period. No sick/pto/vacation time for a year which can make getting through it very exhausting. People have to come to work sick or not get paid for the day.
