Pros

The people that I was able to work with really challenged me in the most positive ways. They taught me to grow and really supported me.

Cons

It is not really a "con" but the expectation levels are extremely high. if you can't take the heat then get out of the kitchen.

Pros

Benefits, Competitive Pay, Room for advancement, and an amazing HR Community!! I was blessed to have the opportunity to work with Highgate for five years and was treated with the upmost respect by all leaders in the organization, especially Geri Williams-Fitts and her remarkable Corporate HR team. The fact that I have left the company several weeks ago and Geri still takes the time to call and wish me well truly says wonders about their leadership and direction the company is going!

Cons

Every company has it's faults especially during a period of expansion, but the fact that Highgate Hotels acknowledges their mistakes and acts quickly for the benefit of the associates is what truy makes a company great. I myself have made mistakes during my tenure with Highgate and they didn't treat me any differently whatsoever. So I would say give them an opportunity to grow because they are definitely improving in all aspects of the organization.

Pros

concerned with growth, they did a lot of events, had some employee incentives, did a lot of in house employee events.

Cons

Very bad communication, poor management team, passive aggressive people, if you don't socialize you were hurt for it, talking is always better than working, over worked employees, mgmt would need to put in 12 hours daily other wise you would be looked down upon. mgmt team is too young to be running a hotel. they would talk behind your back and log everything while smiling to your face. other departments would interfere with other departments.
