Pros

Great bonus structure, but every second of your time will by heavily used; Respectful top management (asset manager, RVP and higher). I would only take a leasing job with Milestone due to attractive bonus structure. I am thankful for the experience I gained during my time with the company, but I could not wait to resign and change the employment. My previous employment in property management lasted for 5 years prior to take over by Milestone. I was the happiest person on earth, I have not been upset or regret my choice for a second. Employment with Milestone was a bad chapter of my book, however I have met some hardworking and dedicated people.

Cons

Micromanaging on every step, no decisions on vendors are made on site level, which is unfavorable for the property appearance (landscaping), it is all about giving business to friends and getting rebates at the end of the year. Not employee oriented by any means. Hundreds of hours of trainings required annually, no life work balance at all.

Pros

Leasing bonuses Some corporate people can be nice which is refreshing

Cons

RMs don't have on sites back. Once a resident complains and calls corporate they are given whatever it is they want most of the time. This only allows for more calls, especially from that resident. They are going to continue to go back to corporate every time and this is frustrating for on staff management because we should be able to manage our site without worry that we will be overridden just because. The receptionist at the corporate office is very rude to on site teams and speaks down to them like they are children. No work life balance, no support for onsite teams, no true care for the employee-it's an if you don't like it there's the door attitude vs trying to change the things that are pushing employees out the door they rather just lose a good employee. Budgets are created without your input so good luck in explaining yourself every time and not making bonus because your actually taking care of the property needs. Most the time if you reach out for help to the "support" team you are referred back to manual or told to wait your turn in line (which takes days for a response) so meanwhile your issue is left unresolved vs just having someone who can assist without an attitude about having to help.

Pros

There is a great bonus structure

Cons

Upper management could use some work. Berating hard working employees won't bring positive results.

I appreciate your review and that you approve of the bonus structure! I would really like to understand more about your concerns - we do not want you to feel that way and agree that success is possible because of our onsite teams; thanks for being candid. If you'd give me the opportunity to understand more, please email me at support@milestone.desk-mail.com. Thanks in advance for considering!
