Pros

It’s the best job that I’ve had that has good benefits, 401(k) good vacation time even for first year. And they do prioritize team morale.

Cons

Sometimes it feels like they expect more in a day than one person can perform. But when the task is completed, I feel like you’ve accomplished something so I don’t know if that’s really a con maybe just a challenge?

Pros

There’s a real opportunity here to help build something great. Highmark is growing and evolving, which means there’s space to bring ideas to the table and help shape how things work. It’s not always easy — in fact, it can be very challenging — but that’s part of what makes it rewarding. You’re contributing to something that’s still being refined. One of the best parts is the people. Many of the folks I work with have been here for years, which says a lot. They’re experienced, committed, and genuinely want to see the company and each other succeed. That kind of dedication creates a sense of stability even when things are fast-moving or tough.

Cons

Like any fast-paced company, sometimes priorities shift quickly, and communication can lag during transitions. Some systems and processes could be more streamlined, and workload can vary significantly by region or role. Growth means change, so flexibility is key.
