Understaffed. Labor workers. Just a number.
Pros
Good money while the convention center is in use. Lots of different groups of people coming in and providing business. Cafeteria one meal per shift provided. Parking provided one of the biggest perks of all especially for downtown.
Cons
Extremely understaffed. You will be treated like a laborer and nothing more. Don’t get any ideas regarding creativity or implementing any part of your own vision into your workplace because it will not happen. You’re not here to make waves you’re just here to be a laborer. You are just a number. Labor can be replaced. Mostly middle-aged people working here not really a place for young people. Food and beverage management is pretty good unless you’re in the kitchen or working banquet kitchen. Working at the pool during the summer as of bartender might seem dreamy, but it’s actually a snooze.
