Decent pay. Great PTO. People I work with are fantastic.

Cons

There is zero direction from leadership in North America. Lots of talking, but no action outside of only reactive and unaligned tasks that benefit only the leaders and who they report to. Strategy and true planning doesn't exist. So many silos and misalignment, I dont have enough room to write specifics.

Pros

You get to travel, and the starting pay will prevent you from starving to death. You'll make a boatload of money for the higher-ups

Cons

You will not be trained in any of the skills they require you to possess. You will be fired in short order for arbitrary reasons. You are disposable to them. You will be sold a bill of goods that are false: in the interview, you will be lied to. The management will act like your best friend, but the second you begin working there, it'll be like jekyll and hyde. When you get fired (and it's not a matter of "if,") you will be billed by American Express for late fees on your company card, and it will reduce your credit score.

Good name recognition compared to most in energy sector.

Cons

Hitachi Energy wasted a lot of my time and energy during an unproductive interview process. Twice the told me I was going to have another interview only to be told they are going in a different direction. This is cruel and unprofessional and you wasted my time.
