Management actively disincentivizes researchers from doing any innovative work. Management has no idea about research in general, and pencil pushing bureaucracy is valued a lot, actively wasting valuable researcher time. Good company if you are looking for a very stable job, but DO NOT join if you are young, want to do fundamental research, or want to learn from peers. Researchers are extremely silo-ed and research labs actively compete for same funding sources, as a result collaboration is highly discouraged.
