      Pros

      The managers are open and willing to share their knowledge. There are great benefits. The culture of the organisation is very interesting and diverse. As Hitachi is a Japanese company, it has been really good to work with expatriates from Japan alongside other colleagues from all over Europe. Hitachi's Social Innovation business means that it lies across many industries which also makes it an interesting company to work for. The head office is based in Maidenhead, by the River Thames and it is a lovely office, with great onsite facilities and car park.

      Cons

      Too much air conditioning sometimes.

      Thank you for your very positive views on Hitachi Europe. Apologises if you found the air conditioning too cold. It is hard to please everyone with the temperature in the office, but our lovely offices are undertaking a refurbishment to make them even more lovely and that will include replacing all of the existing air conditioning equipment - with new Hitachi air conditioning of course!
