Pros

Coworkers were the best reason to work for this co.

Cons

Stop opening new stores that just end up closing because of location issues. Got really tired of trying to sell poor quality china-made junk at higher prices to people. Some spvsrs bragged about how much bonuses they (but no one else) were making ea month. Sold too much cheap decor stuff to be called a "hobby" place (they dumped many of those while I worked there). Didn't feel like a "Christian" work atmosphere at all.

Pros

Fun atmosphere to work in, people that come to shop are in a good mood because there is nothing you truly need there, just knick knacks for the home or projcets

Cons

I worked my entire career at hobby lobby under "temporary hire", they would constantly hold this over my head too. "It would look good for them to hire you if you worked 45 hours this week" while I had been working there for over 6 months at that point

Pros

Good management and people to work with. Also good working conditions to work in.

Cons

Hours could be better and the ability to move up in the ranks are a little harder than other places I've worked at.
