      Cheap , and living in the dark ages

      Pros

      Like being around stuff I love to do Store discount (15%)

      Cons

      Only a very few people are hired at that $10 an hour full-time status. And their hours are cut below 35 a week to the point that their insurance is affected. Most of us are part-time at just a hair above minum wage. Never know our schedule more than a few days ahead. Very few people work in the store so we have to "cover" for a LOT of departments! Ordering system is a JOKE. They do everything on paper, which takes DAYS. A computer system could have it done in 20 minutes!

      Very good pay Decent benefits Good employee discount Always closed on Sundays In store music was at the very least easy to listen to..no head bangig or rap crap!

      District managers treat you like garbage Not enough feedback from upper managemant The Green family does not have a clue to what is going on in the stores

      Pros

      The paychecks are almost always on time and right. I love the customers and I love the co-workers but management is a mess.

      Cons

      Prehistoric systems still being used for checkout, ordering, and inventory. The schedule for each week is posted at 5pm on Fri. or early on Sat. Don't try to plan your life. They use alot of "Guilt or You should be happy you got a job" on the employees. And management is always in panic mode. "Do it now and do it fast". And many times the chore is done wrong and has to be done twice. We do alot of move it here and move it there. Sometimes items are moved so much we cannot help the customers because we cannot find the items ourselves.
