Pros

Working as full time I have great pay, benefits, and discounts. I get every other weekend off. Manager usually gives off when requested. Lots of crafts and art supplies to choose from.

Cons

Terrible management. Given the title and position of CSM, I should be doing the job of a CSM. Manager always takes over and has me run register because he has no cashiers. Anyone can be easily let go just because the manager wants to cut back on hours. He constantly berates and reprimands his associates in front of others and over the intercom, hardly ever one-on-one. If not for the management, I would rate this job a 5/5.

Pros

Christian company, hard working employees, and great assistant manager, James.

Cons

The manager at the Noth Charleston store is not very nice to employees and doesn't know how to speak to them. A few months after opening, they fired half of their employees because they over hired. Some of the employees they kept on only got 4-6 hours a week.

Co-manager = stocker

Pros

Off sundays. Off Thanksgiving and Christmas . Some department leads do know there departments.

Cons

Unrealistic hours . 15 hour shifts for managers several times a week. One manager in store on Saturday the busiest time of the week . Hired as a Co-manager and treated like a full-time stocker. No real Co-manager title just a key holder. Not enough training or not given enough time to train. Company more focused on seasonal product not there employees. Stores run a skeleton crew after Christmas season. Not enough cashiers or department employees in the stores to assist customers after the Christmas season.
