Pros

FLIGHT TO OKLAHOMA AND LEAVING THE STORE

Cons

LIES, LIES, AND MORE LIES; I was a Co-Manager and was maximum hours 55-60, I worked over 90 hours every week and was told I was not dedicated enough in my position. All the company cares about is the all mighty dollar and not the employee.

Pros

Moneys not bad for trucking

Cons

Any other trucking company, you are the captain of your ship. If conditions warrant, most companies will expect and in some cases require you to shut down. Hobby Lobby cares nothing about the safety of their drivers, the motoring public or their safety rating. Drivers are pressured and required to drive regardless of the conditions. In my case, my wife and I were fired for using our judgement and not leaving out in the middle of an ice storm. If you are a truck driver who values their CDL and CSA score, avoid this company at all costs.

Absolutely Horrible.

Pros

Pay rate is much better than average retail jobs.

Cons

The store manager has literally insulted every member of the staff. He verbally belittles us, calling us slow and stupid. He intimidates us not to take breaks. He schedules us for 12hr days with only a 30min lunch. No amount of money is worth what the employees at store #191 are having to endure. I literally went from loving my job to hating my job in one day when the current store manager took over our store. He is an unrelenting task master who puts so much on everyone that some of the staff leave in tears most days. He has treated the stockmen with such disdain that many have just left. He has refused to give people vacation time when the previous manager gave them the okay even if the vacation was paid and nonrefundable. The manager at this store cares about one thing, himself. He came to this store assuming we were idiots from the very beginning.
