Leadership operates like a mean girl society. They target specific people and they have their favorites who can do no wrong. Promotions are based on who they like or who is the shiny new star. Turnover is incredible from both a new employee and a promotional standpoint. No one lasts very long in their positions due to insane reasons. The environment is very gossipy and one can go to the internal HR dept. and make baseless claims with erroneous facts and as long as they are friends with the HR staff or leadership, they get what they want. It’s an incredibly chaotic and very devious place to work. This has been the story for decades and no one in internal or corporate HR cares to do anything about it. No one will hear you out because the owner’s daughter is in charge. The rest of the company may be ran differently but the Art Dept. is nothing more than a soap opera.
