Pros

The hourly pay for Full Time is excellent, you get Christmas bonuses whether your part time or full time, you get Thanksgiving, Christmas, and every Sunday off

Cons

There have been many times where I've had to put in extra hours and instead of being given the overtime, my hours would be cut on other days. Being a single mom I relied on that overtime. When working full time you are told you have to be available to work a minimum of 2 nights a week, and even though you're usually out by 9pm, it was hard because again, being a single mom, I wanted to be home at night with my son, but my Manager told me if I couldn't work nights that he would fire me. Managers, Co-Managers, and even Assistant Managers have their favorites/pets and it's very clear. These favorites get away with everything and it's very unfair to the other employees who work hard without kissing butt. There's times where if your store is behind in setting up any particular areas of the store, you could be there till all hours of the night. I once worked from 8am-2:30am and was only given a half hour unpaid break. I had to be back to work the next morning at 9am. I then had my hours drastically cut so they wouldn't have to pay me the overtime, then because I was working on something at the time, I got written up for it not being done....even though the manager is the one who sent me home after only being there for a couple hours, and my project was about 98% complete. And it's very hard to climb the ladder in this job as well, unless you are a butt kisser.

Pros

Competive pay and benefits. Easy/light work for the most part. Store is open 9a-8p so the hours are good. They have a lot of interesting products.

Cons

Majority of managers are rude and have no people skills. Favoritism is rampant and mainly only those in good with the managers will advance. Hard work goes unnoticed, those that just do enough to get by are usually the ones praised.

Pros

Not many. Pay and benefits were ok and the people were nice. That was about all the good

Cons

You work a ton of hours. As a manager you will work at least 2 open to close a week.
