Pros

The parent company has good intentions.

Cons

At the Regional and the District level the leaders are much more cutthroat and disrespectful.

Pros

Sundays off and every other weekend Discounts Simple

Cons

A perpetual mid shift. Weird management style of insulting staff. Meaningless work. The mission statement of the company does not translate down to store level.

Pros

Fairly good variety of tasks to do, as far as retail goes. Usually pretty good about giving time off, pay (at least in my area) is pretty good, too.

Cons

Your success is totally dependent on who your managers are. There are full-timers that keep their jobs despite their low/non-existent work ethic and complete disrespect for coworkers, meanwhile there are part-timers that are hard and reliable workers that get nowhere.
