Pros

Good pay for part time, 10/hour.

Cons

Management as a whole, everyone lives in fear of the district manager who is only concerned with beating sales. Projects are overwhelming and you are left to yourself to figure it all out. A lot of the time it is "work until you get done" which is hard when you have a life.

Pros

Great pay as far as retail goes. Nice clientele as it is mostly college students, moms, and older customers. 10% discount on items.

Cons

Micro managed to the extreme. You will be pulled from one task to go complete another task and then reprimanded for not completing the first task. Expected to come in at a moments notice regardless of weather. Reprimanded for getting too many hours, reprimanded for not getting enough.

Pros

$15 an hr. The employee discount. The products that they sell. They have many things that are useful to the common household which is great when buying on sale with the employee discount.

Cons

Management is very irresponsible. They can never get anything right from scheduling to minor requests from employees regarding anything. Most of the time these will be formal requests that are done to the company's requirements but the management will not only fail to honor them but they will also come up with a reason that is irrelevant as to why the can't make your request happen. This then leads you to have to make your own accommodations to make everyone happy when you originally made the request in advanced to aboid any issues. They will give the world to someone who brown-noses while the employees who mind their business and work hard dont't even get any recognition. There are employees who will be morally and ethically wrong but for those employees as long as they are buddying up to the managers they will get whatever they want. I have worked retail for a very long time and have never seen practices so unorthodox within such a company. Oh and they will throw 'christian values' around all day but the only good reason they use that for is to be closed on Sunday.
