      Lean Company = More Work but More Opportunity

      Pros

      Lot's of opportunities, and a stable place for employment, but lean company style often leaves lower level employees picking up the brunt of under-staffed projects - without the additional compensation.

      Cons

      Work-life balance can be rough. More succinctly, perhaps, the "Holder culture" is great in ideal, poor in execution. And the culture that any one person will experience on a project is largely dependent on the project manager. this means the "Holder culture" varies wildly from project to project, from a positive and enriching work environment, to working in a hell-hole. Your experience then is left up to luck-of-the-draw.

      Upper management really try’s to get to know every person, making it still feel like a smaller company.

      Not enough feed back is given from your superiors.
