Pros

Good coworkers for the most part. The location is nice. Family atmosphere. That is probably the only good things I could say.

Cons

Terrible work schedule. Low pay. Never know how many hours you will get each week. Also, the company does A LOT of firing.

Attack of the robot salespeople!

Business Outlook

Pros

Great benefits, decent perks, very fun work environment

Cons

The sales pitch is scripted down to the letter, eliminating any chance at sounding like yourself. Managers decide right from the start who has more potential and spends time on their tables accordingly. Just not the best environment to succeed unless you come out of training with guns blazing.

Corruption and favoritism

Anonymous employee

Business Outlook

Pros

Good medical benefits and travel benefits. Nice new office location. Good income if you are corrupt.

Cons

Corrupt supervisors. Only a select group of agents get quality inbound calls. Management can change how many calls you get, where the calls come from and the frequency of the incoming calls. The agents who produce the most pay the supervisors under the table for these preferred campaigns and skill sets. Many supervisors (all but one are male) have affairs with top producing female reps and several are married men. The rules apply to some, not all and favoritism is a huge negative factor. Drugs and alcohol used extensively by leadership. Very poor training. Supervisors only help a few agents (the ones who are paying them under the table). Very unprofessional language and bullying from a few supervisors in inbound. The more you pay the supervisor, the greater chance of success monetarily. Top producers never use the word "timeshare" though that is what we are trying to sell. When upper management approached about this, they avoid the topic and ignore. Different rules for different agents. Discrimination is at a high. HR doesn't have a clue and inept. The reason there are so many ads placed is because we can't keep agents. Upper management has no idea what happens in the call center. There is so much dishonesty and corruption. This company has a bad reputation in the timeshare industry. An internal investigation needs to take place and leadership terminated and replaced with honest and ethical employees. Orange Lake pays too high a salary to management compared to the industry in Orlando. Greed creates more greed. Not a good place to work but I am forced to stay. Good people leave and the dishonest remain, Upper management needs to clean house.
