When the big projects roll in and the overtime is flowing you can almost, if not double your take home pay on piece rate vs 40 hours regular pay/hourly.

Cons

This job is far from perfect, but it has been good to me. When you're assigned. It comes down to being assigned to a good lead and a good supervisor that manage job scheduling and parts well

Cons

Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Supervisors need to delegate to Leads and not interfere. One Super will stop you from working just to talk your ear off about efficiency. The same Super will stop you at step 1 and complain it doesnt look like step 25.
