i initially got hired as an express technician( AKA Lube lane), about 6 months into my employment my manager came to me with a new mentorship program that was being launched at the time, to be a mentee under the wings of of the senior techs, and in the 4 months that i have been a mentee i have learned so much about the being a responsible technician, learning about more complicated repairs and more serious recalls. This year of employment has been the most productive out of all my previous employers in this industry
