Pros

As one of the first franchise owners in the UK it was a leap of faith but was a business model which had been very successful in the USA. The model works. It needs hard work and sticking to the proven model, but after 12 years has rewarded me with a good lifestyle and time to do the things I want. The brand is going from strength to strength and has many offices (200) in the UK now. The support from national office is exceptional and their revenues are ploughed back into the brand for continuous development and improvement. The only way to fail in this business is to not follow the model or not put the work in. all the support you need is there.

Cons

The early years do require a lot of dedication and long hours. It is not a get rich quick scheme. Be prepared to put the work in.

Pros

Home Instead are the leaders in high quality, relationship-centred care for the elderly. Becoming one of their franchisees has allowed me to "change the face of ageing" in my local community, create rewarding employment opportunities for my team and has enabled me to develop a great business that I feel really proud of. The franchise support team at National Office are all values driven and aligned to support the franchisees to develop successful, growing businesses. I have NEVER been chased for a sales target - their ethos is to help me "do the right thing" for my clients and staff, with the belief that a profitable, enduring business will be establishedby offering a high quality service (this has proven to be true). I benefit from specialist training, personalised and tailored business support from the global leader in care at home for the elderly. The National Office team are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Cons

I have no criticisms of the National Office franchisor team.

Pros

Home Instead Senior Care really care about their staff, you really do feel appreciated!! The training they provide is very in-depth and gives you all you need to provide care in the community. One of the few care companies that have been rated 'OUTSTANDING' in the Guildford and Woking area. Excellent rates of pay and flexible hours based around your life style. I love the fact that you are introduced to clients AND are matched to hobbies and interests so you really do have something in common.

Cons

I really can't fault them!
