Pros

The clients themselves are wonderful, and caregiving can be rewarding when not overshadowed by the management.

Cons

Morale among caregivers is at rock bottom. Every one of the four caregivers I worked with felt demoralized and unsupported. Supervisors regularly sent vague, punitive, and passive-aggressive mass text messages instead of communicating directly with individuals. These messages frequently threatened a mandatory, unpaid three-hour training session—weaponizing “training” as punishment rather than as support or professional development. The supervisory team fostered a gossipy, belittling culture that eroded trust among staff. Instead of creating unity, they created division, and this toxic dynamic spilled over into client care. Rather than consulting with caregivers who actually work with clients, supervisors relied on rumors and group shaming. The result: high stress, poor communication, and a workplace where caregivers feel disposable instead of valued. This company talks about dignity and respect for clients but fails to extend those same principles to its employees.
