Pros

Homeserve -Walsall I think is a great place to work The people I have met over my years here have been a great support and knit together like a family I have a great work/home life balance being able to work 2 days a week from home I’ve had fantastic opportunities to develop in my role after putting in my own hard work and developing my skills with the managers and the businesses support If you want to develop you can and it is possible hard work is never easy but it always worth it Pay is more than fair along with the benefits the company offer for retail loans and finances Targets are in place to support with customer demand they are fair and reasonable and are achievable if like I say you want to work for them Every employer will have processes in place and am treated like an individual in line with process and am treat fairly We have a safe open and diverse community with lots of community work available to take part in such as supporting our nominated charity I enjoy my work , my team , my mangers our vision and outlook every single day

Cons

Unfortunately if people don’t like processes policies rules etc they tend to reflect blame on the culture of HS However every company has policy procedures rules and regulations in place , we may not like them but we adhere to them for a reason , people don’t take the time to understand the reasoning for them being in place rather they state it’s an u healthy place to work - which it is not

Free car parking, and cheap everything else.

Cons

New senior leadership is very focused on the money, not the people, The new CEO has the right idea, but their people are focused on rinsing a smaller set of customers until the well is ultimately dry, older customers getting charged more and more. Totally lost it’s soul and morals.
