A place of opportunity and great people

Pros

There is opportunity and support to move horizontally and/or vertically through the business. HomeServe is large enough to provide these opportunities and the workforce is empowered to use them. Truly is a People and Customer First company. The policies and procedures in place to look after vulnerable customers and staff prove that HomeServe fulfills its promises.

Cons

Not every manager at every level of every branch fully embraces the HomeServe values, sometimes because of the resources available but sometimes because they choose to have other priorities. However, this will be the case in all large businesses and the number does seem to be shrinking as time goes on.

Pros

By all levels you feel listened to and they react to information that you share. The Senior Management team always make time for you and concentrate on making improvements within the business and help you improve as an individual

Cons

None really- I have worked at HS for 9 years and each year the company has gone from strength to strength

Pros

employees are really cared about. you're not thought of as a number or statistic, you're classed as a real person and development is really well thought of. The fact that I can sit down and have a 121 about my development with the CEO, multiple senior managers and directors, says a lot about this company and the culture ir promotes.

Cons

while HomeServe is constantly trying to improve, some of the important things get lost in the current. I know everything will come together though.
