Pros

Onsite parking. Decent equipment to work with. Good benefits. Good people. Did well coping with the pandemic.

Cons

Poor direction when it comes to staff development. Face fits mentality. Poor middle management with poor consistency and no direction. Slow to develop technology and behind competitors on the technology side.. e.g website. The company seems very reactive and not proactive.

Pros

Free on-site parking, canteen and good work life balance

Cons

There is a lack of learning and development even when requests have been discussed and submitted with line manager. You don't hear anything back despite chasing up multiple times. After a few years of chasing you give up. Saw the lack of BAME faces from senior management level and above to a good indicator of the lack of diversity. It's always the ones that shout the loudest and often in cliquey circles that brags about how great it a workplace Homeserve is. It was ok. Room for improvement in areas of delivery, process improvement and prioritisation
