      - Competitive pay - Good benefits - matching RRSP, good insurance coverage, free lunch - Everyone is very friendly and helpful - Eng documentation has good coverage for the most part - was able to get local dev env set up without any trouble and learn about tools we use just by reading documentation available - Good engineering tools and environment infrastructure to make development easy

      Cons

      - There is a large amount of tech debt where legacy in house built tools are used and people no longer have context on how they work

      Pros

      Although all engineers work primarily remotely we have a great culture of always helping each other out. Even though we work on different teams we all have a sense of being part of one united engineering org. This is one of the best engineering orgs I've ever worked at.

      Cons

      This is typical for most tech companies but the tension between what product teams want built and what engineering needs to do to continue to maintain the platform is mostly add odds. This can get exhausting.
