Pros

It’s incredibly easy to get a job here, but that’s only because everyone is desperate to leave as soon as possible! Save yourself the trouble and stay away.

Cons

Turnover at Horsburgh & Scott is alarmingly high, and it’s all thanks to how horrible the leadership is! They are messy, incompetent, and have no idea what they’re doing, but refuse to listen to anyone and avoid taking accountability for any of their actions!

Pros

Nothing positive to say about the culture.

Cons

Toxic and exhausting. The ceo has a terrible attitude and talks down to people, morale is always low. Management sticks to their own clique, so moving up isn't really a thing. Raises are basically nothing, no matter how hard you work. Their equipment is old and always breaking, so you're constantly dealing with delays. You can get called in on holidays or even during your time off. On top of that, the environment can be uncomfortable with all the inappropriate comments going around.

Pros

There are plenty of good companies out there. Once you have worked here, you will be eager to explore them all.

Cons

Safety is at serious risk here. The arrogant and evil leadership doesn't care about employee safety. You will feel horribly challenged due to the poor safety. You might have to work very cautiously to avoid injuries. The work hours are also long, brutal, and exhausting. There is no end to the work you do. You finish one task, and ten more would be waiting for you. It's enough to make anyone feel drained and exceptionally tired. If you are okay with handling new challenges daily, then only work here. Otherwise, there are plenty of other options. I was lucky to get another job elsewhere. If I didn't, I would have stayed unemployed rather than work in this horrible company.
