Houston Independent School District is a good place to work if you are looking to live within the Houston city limits.

Cons

Houston Independent School District has an extensive hiring process and the pay is not as high as most of the other districts in the Houston area.

Having the great time to invest in our children and produce the next leaders of the world. I did like it

Cons

Long hours with little recognition and no overtime pay. Having to buy supplies for the students out of our own pockets.
