Pros

Close to home, good medical insurance, employer contribution plan, bonuses

Cons

They do not offer weekend differential. The 401K is only matched $0.50 to the dollar up to 4%, so essentially they really only match your contribution up to 2%. Vacation time accumulation per pay period is very low compared to the other hospitals I've worked for.

Pros

Management listens to employees on regular basis. HR works with business to be very pro employee.

Cons

Transition pains while moving to centralized structure. Some new or green managers still need soft skills in motivating and adapting to all work styles to increase employee engagement/productivity across board.

Pros

Very professional staff at the Sugar Land community hospital. The interview process was quick and the job offer came a few days after interviewing.

Cons

The main Methodist Hospital in the Medical Center never contacted me regarding my application. I was employed by the community hospital 3 months before the main hospital contacted me for a phone interview.
