      Pros

      Houston Methodist offers great benefits, including PTO, employer contributions, medical and dental. The atmosphere is holistic and kind. Status quo is never accepted as they are always looking to improve.

      Cons

      As with most large employers be aware of politics. Since it is such a huge organization it can be difficult to be heard as an individual employee when trying to improve your workplace.

      Our department never does anything for the coworkers to build relationships. No departmental meetings.

      Very strong, positive culture (ICARE Values) Company and leadership seem to genuinely care about employees Continues to grow while other organizations falter Good reputation in the community

      Like anywhere else, experiences may vary based on who you report to. There are often competing priorities which confuse employees.
