      Pros

      The professors are some of the best and brightest, unfortunately the pros end here..

      Cons

      They lose and mishandle everything, from payment information to records. It is actually amazing how bad they are at their jobs and the fact they keep their jobs is inexplicable.

      Review of Howard University from a Tenured Professor's point of view

      Pros

      The best reason to work at Howard University as a tenured Professor is the students and the freedom of time. For a working stiff it is the closest thing to being free.

      Cons

      The downsides are that the organization is generally inefficient and the pay is lousy! The poor pay comes with the territory of not really having a lot of management oversight for the faculty.
