      Not a particularly enjoyable experience

      Pros

      -Office is in a good location next to the Gherkin. -Lots of contractors. -“War-like” camaraderie in some teams.

      Cons

      -Macho culture where everything has to be done “yesterday”. -Some very poor decisions have put massive strain on staff. -Ok comp for contractors but perms underpaid. -Long hours and stressed people throughout the company. -Not a lot of honesty - it’s each for their own. -Very political -Seems like a short-term operation

      Some great people which is why people stay.

      Cons

      Outsourcing everything back office to India with little lead time. HR inefficient at best ! Inconsistent bonuses across teams and little support when issues within teams.

      Good work life balance. Good work environment.

      Cons

      Company has introduced new policy of disbursement of variable pay after 9 months of appraisal closure. This is ridiculous as you have to stay in the company for almost a year longer to get the variable component. If you leave the company before that you will not get anything. No pro-rata nothing. Which means whenever you leave the company you would atleast lose 9 months of variable salary. This could be more.
